I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with a little over 67,000 miles on it. Been noticing a diesel like rattle in take off for about 4-6 months. Tried several octane boosters with no help. Finally let a mechanic from a local Ford dealer drive it and he said sounded like timing chain noise. Called another man who works at another Ford dealership and he recommended Lucas Oil Stabilizer. Had the oil changed yesterday with the Lucas product. Drove about a quarter to half a mile down the road with the same rattle and suddenly no noise of any kind. I live on a hill with a steep driveway and always heard the rattle up the incline. Again, no noise after about ten trips up and down yesterday. Great product from Lucas....................
